Why Your Project Needs a Construction Stormwater Permit and Erosion Control Plan

Construction activities can significantly disturb the land, leading to increased erosion and the potential for sediment and other pollutants to enter nearby waterways. The Clean Water Act requires that nearly all construction projects acquire a state issued permit and have their site professionally monitored to ensure compliance. Failure to adhere to construction stormwater compliance regulations can result in fines and significant project delays. Here's why construction stormwater compliance is critical:
-
Required by State Law and the EPA
-
Reduces Grading and Sitework
-
Reduces Soil Import Cost
-
Helps protect client from Legal Liability
-
Improves Downstream Water Quality
-
Prevents Erosion and Sedimentation
-
Protects Your Reputation
-
Ensures State and Local Municipality Compliance
Featured Projects

The Camp
Lake Martin, Alabama
We acquired the ADEM NPDES Construction Stormwater Permit for the project which is located within a "Priority Watershed". Throughout the project we acted as the QCP and provided rain event and monthly inspections. Prior to construction, we acquired a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Individual permit for the seawall construction.
Project Northstar / Amazon Distribution Center
